Metaphors Galore! April 17, 2012
A metaphor is a comparison between two things that DOES NOT use like or as. Remember the poem we read today, Metaphor for a Family, compared the people in the family to the items in a medicine chest! Write a metaphor that compares you to something!
ie: I am an encyclopedia…a gigantic bank of knowledge that my students can access for information.

Successmaker Night and Awards February 23, 2012
Next Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at 6pm, Hedenkamp will hold an informational meeting in the MPR regarding Successmaker and its use at home and school. Also, there will be awards given out for outstanding Successmaker achievement to the following students:
